A new survey suggests that the majority of the public believe that David Cameron’s plans to end housing benefit for the under-25s will result in a rise in homelessness. Leading homeless charities have attacked the idea saying that it will force more youngsters onto the streets. Only 35 per cent of the 1000 people polled said that they thought this would not be the case.
