What? To show homeless people of the world Why? To tell that they are human beings under the wrong circumstances How? To provide worldwide information and be a platform for everyone who is working with them. Dedicated to my daughter Merel van Oorschot who is lost in time and space, unable to find her way back home.
The photographer purchased 200 signs from homeless people in New York City. The collection of signs that homeless use to beg is a testimony to the people on the streets. It tells personal stories of the poor and record the story of poverty in the world.
