In the foggy early morning of August 19, the Santa Clara River bottom is the scene of a chaotic exodus of approximately 70 homeless people who are hustling to pack up tents.
Linda, 64, puts her most valued belongings in two bags small enough to fit into the one commercial trash barrel per person allotted by the City of Ventura for storing what possessions members of this displaced community want to keep.
